Our hotel offers various types of rooms. The rooms are located in the main building and in the annex building that has been built in 2016 with new rooms.
The rooms in the hotel have big panorama windows that provide a view on the landscape and the Mont Vully. A hair dryer and satellite TV are provided in each room.
Next to the single and double rooms, there are also studios that can be rent upon request. Their bigger ground plan enables to have more space for longer stays.

The Hotel de la Gare in Sugiez, located between the Broye and the Lake of Murten combines art and culinary. A strong relationship connects the host of the hotel Hans-Ueli Leisi with the artistic family Lunginbühl.Bernhard Luginbühl one of the most renowned iron sculptors in the world.
Bernhard Luginbühl’s sons, Brutus, Basil and Jwan have herited his talent and passion for art. Each member of the family has his own individual artistic work.
The creativity of the artist family Luginbühl comes together at the Hotel de la Gare. It is an artistic platform that already thrilled many guests.
The steel sculpture by Bernhard Luginbühl on the terrasse of the hotel and many other strong>sculptures and images have been provided by the artist family. The idyllic region in the Seeland and next to the lake of Murten, the strong>Mont Vully and the Broye are the ideal starting point for various excursions.
The temporary restaurant “Le Vully” has been owned by Hans-Ueli Leisi during the Expo 2002. It is on the mount “Le Vully” that Bernhard Luginbühl has burned his sculpture at the end of the exposition.

Host
Since the new opening in 2003, the Hotel de la Gare is owned by Hans-Ueli Leisi who still welcomes his guests personally every day.
Hans-Ueli has done his education to become a Chef at the Landgasthof in Schönbühl. He gained experience in various project in the gastronomy and hospitality before becoming self-employed.
The concept of the Hotel de la Gare has been nominated for the Hotel Innovations Award in 2016 and the Best of Swiss Gastro Award in 2009.
